The Underrated Power of Cloud Technology in the World | ELE Times

With the introduction of Cloud Technology, our baggage became lighter, faster and safer. It has changed the world by decreasing delays and increasing productivity with the freedom of getting access from anywhere and anytime we want.

Cloud Technology has been dealing with the COVID 19 pandemic by steadily enabling the rapid development of vaccines by giving information and hopes in the time of adversity.

Cloud has given wings to companies and people by helping them in building and scaling their productions. The best example is the Pharmaceutical companies that have successfully utilized cloud-based technology to deliver their trial and final batch.

Cloud technology must be used as it decreases costs, advances flexibility of operations, develops business resilience, strengthens innovation capabilities, and supports to provide to market requirements swiftly. They give an edge to the startups and midsize companies to access high-level technologies like algorithms, computing power, and programming tools.

Cloud technology has been used by companies to aid work-from-home, provide telehealth, amp up their digital activities, entertainment streaming, and more.

So, the question remains- Is our Data safe in Cloud?

Cloud provides extensive data protection services. We know online data is always vulnerable to cyberattacks, public cloud providers give high-level data protection powers like database monitoring, data encryption, and access control.

This is where Cloud comes in handy, secures your private data without exposing your classified information. This allows businesses to have authority over most of their private data.

Making Smart Choices with Cloud

It is the choices and abilities of the software that gives us power over the unknown. So, before using any software, you must be aware of all the possibilities it brings for you.

There are 3 main Cloud capabilities –

  • Software as a Service (SaaS): SaaS is what started the cloud revolution. It is easier for the companies to roll out, get direct funds from business budgets, and standardize the process while supporting innovation.
  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): IaaS is a simple way to access computing and data storage sources. If a company adopts IaaS, it can rent servers and storage in the cloud without having to purchase and maintain its infrastructure.
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS): PaaS is a good alternative for businesses that look to produce unique applications without making big financial investments.

The biggest hurdle for Cloud is businesses getting online and adopting it. They need to understand that it can create a stage to enhance productivity, innovation, and growth that will decide their success.
