Outstanding distribution performance – despite a Pandemic Year | ELE Times

Doing business in 2020 has been everything but normal: Cancelled events, endangered supply chains and several other burdens on the global economy – the pandemic preconditions have imposed new challenges for our grown business partnerships.

Panasonic Industry Europe honors its distributors’ efforts and spirit of collaboration in a virtual ceremony with the Distribution Awards 2020 in three categories:

In the first category, Future Electronics was awarded Distributor of the Year. The Canadian based distributor of electronic and electro-mechanical components operates on a global level, in 44 countries and 169 locations:

„I’m very happy to congratulate Future for this award. The key for success, first and foremost in this special year 2020, is the good relationships that we have for five years now,” said Johannes Spatz, President Panasonic Industry Europe. The appreciation for the partnership seems mutual – and fruitful, as Karim Khebere, Corporate VP & Managing Director EMEA, Future Electronics points out: “The common goals of our business journey will be achieved much earlier than expected.”

Russian electronics supplier Compel has been elected High Service Distributor of the Year. Compel was founded in 1993 and is now one of the largest Russian companies supplying components and modules to electronics manufacturers.

I’ve never seen a distributor getting an award after two years. Compel reached great numbers. Their stock investment for Lytics is a strong commitment and our partnership is on a good way. Congratulations!” said Richard Dines, Team Leader Distribution Department, Panasonic Industry Europe.

Two awards were granted in the Regional Distributor of the Year category – the Russian company MT System and Anglia from the United Kingdom:

Panasonic Industry is a key supplier for Anglia – hence we are absolutely focused and dedicated. It is a fantastic brand with great quality and fabulous partners; I dreamed for more than 30 years to have the franchise on board. Especially thanks to our very good personal relationship, Panasonic Industry is one of the TOP 5 suppliers out of over 150,” summarizes Steve Rawlins, CEO, Anglia being granted this annual award.

Second awarded MT System has been working in the electronics market since 1998 and is an established professional distributor of high-tech goods in Russia. For Maximilian Jakob, General Manager Sales Distribution Department, Panasonic Industry Europe, it was amazing to see MT System’s performance during the extraordinary year 2020. “The trust in our leading capacitor technology POSCAP and OSCON paid-off,” said Jakob.

We are very proud to work with such global company that makes this world easier by innovation”, as Alex Peslyak from MT System gratefully retorts.

Mutual appreciation for commonly striving to take technology to the next level – an a unanimous spirit of confidence for the upcoming business year.
